CRMUG UK Meeting, and the “Superstars”

The March 2016 CRMUG UK was held at Microsoft’s offices in Thames Valley Park and it was another well-attended event. It was well supported by high-quality content from Microsoft, Independent Consultants, Partners and end-user customers themselves.

The value of the CRM User Group cannot be overstated.  Aside from the meetings which happen in the UK three times a year, there is a real international community sharing knowledge and experience.  This is done via the CRMUG Site and forums, as well as lots of online webinars and academy courses.

QGate has been a long-time supporter of the CRMUG, as we believe very strongly that this community is an added benefit to the product itself.  So if you are working with or without external help or assistance, you need not be alone!  From the agenda of yesterday’s meeting, you can see the breadth of topics covered and there is always something for everyone involved in CRM.  I learnt a lot myself, I always do.

Aside from the usual CRM related content, the CRMUG committee took time yesterday to acknowledge those who have contributed presentations and content, all voluntary, over the past year via “CRMUG Superstar Awards”.  I was very proud to receive the award for best partner session, so many thanks to all those who voted.  But I would also wish to congratulate all the other nominees and winners, as it is the quality of the presenters that make the sessions and therefore the meetings so valuable.

The next UK meeting is scheduled for the 5th of July in London. There is a European CRM Congress event in Stuttgart, Germany in May, and the CRMUG Summit event is being held in Tampa, Florida in October.  For more details on the CRMUG go to www.crmug.com.
