Architecture
The Nortel BCM connects to the LAN via the socket on the front of the PBX. The local IP address and other network settings are set through the Nortel Business Element Manager software, which is downloaded from the PBX.
Installation Notes
To perform an installation you will need the IP address of the PBX.
Notes:
- When deflecting a call, the call continues ringing at your extension as well as at the deflection target.
- The PBX does not natively support completing a consultation transfer while the consultation is in the ringing state.
