Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is part of Microsoft Office 2007 and provides additional components on top of Windows SharePoint Services (WSS). WSS is provided as a free download from Microsoft for Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 or later and is added to the Microsoft .NET Framework. So, the chances are, you already have access to SharePoint but you may not be making best use of it.
