Infor Recognised as a Nucleus Research Leader in CRM

Since the acquisition of Saleslogix (now Infor CRM) six weeks ago, Infor has made a significant investment in Research and Development for the product.  This investment has led to initial industry success as Nucleus Research has recently recognised Infor CRM as a Leader in their Technology Value Matrix for Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Nucleus Research Matrix

Nucleus Research places vendors in the category based on their advances in usability and functionality in sales, marketing and customer service.  According to Rebecca Wettemann, vice president of research at Nucleus Research, “Infor moves into the Leaders quadrant of this Matrix for the first time this fall based on its continued investment in user interface design and its acquisition of the assets of Saleslogix, adding sales and service functionality to Infor’s rich existing marketing capabilities.”

Grant Halloran, global vice president and general manager for Infor Marketing and CRM, reported that “Infor is determined to deliver the best user experience in the CRM market along with industry-specific functionality” in a press release on 16 October.  According to Halloran, Infor is “investing in concert with our overall company strategy to deliver functionally rich applications along with beautiful user experience.”

Nucleus Research expects to see Infor “become a more formidable competitor on usability in the CRM suite space,” and notes that “Infor’s plans for further investment in industry cloud suites with deep vertical functionality will likely improve its positioning from a functionality perspective in future versions of the Matrix.”
