Most businesses don't have a shortage of information. They have a shortage of certainty about where that information lives.

A document gets saved locally, an update arrives by email, somebody downloads a report, and before long, there are multiple versions of the same thing floating around the business.

That is one of the reasons tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot are generating so much interest. The less time people spend hunting for information, the more time they can spend doing something useful with it.
